About Me

My massage therapy journey began when I was 9 years old. It was the age when I received my first professional massage, and it was also a time when I was experiencing a great deal of pain. Headaches and migraines were taking over my young life. After many medical tests, I was told that I would grow out of the headaches, and it was suggested to make necessary lifestyle changes. I owe my parents a great deal of appreciation for seeking ways to help manage my pain. Massage therapy happened to be one of them. The sessions began to help me feel so much better. The relaxation and intention of the therapist wanting to ease my pain was an impactful experience.
As a teenager and young adult, I continued to receive massage as a form of reconnecting with myself and my body. I was 22 when the idea of studying massage therapy began to grow. My natural desire in helping others feel better, my love for anatomy, and my personal experience with massage all lead me to move from my hometown of Glendale, CA to Boulder, CO. There, I attended the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Nestled in the beauty of the rocky mountains, I submerged myself in the study of this ancient form of therapy. I earned my certification in the winter of 2005.
Since then, I've had many professional experiences working as a massage therapist. From luxury spas in Los Angeles, to in-home sessions, working with physical therapist, to special events, and now building my own business. My experiences after these 20 years has helped developed my intuition and helped me grow creatively.
In 2020 I also became certified as a yomassage therapist. In a group setting, yomassage brings a collaboration of massage, restorative yoga positions, and guided meditation to help deepen the body, mind, and spirit connection. Since my yomassage certification, I strive to learn more on these deep connections between our spiritual and physical health.
Massage Therapy is close to my heart. I cherish and respect the time and energy exchanged during a session, and my hope is always in helping you feel your very best.
My self care includes spending time with my husband, my daughter Carolina, and my son Arlo.
I practice yoga, I receive massage and acupuncture, I practice meditation , I love to read, I love to snuggle with cats and dogs, I enjoy visiting museums and botanical gardens, I enjoy live theater, I like to visit book stores, and spending time with people I car about is always priceless.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better.
